Ansco Rediflex



These are great mid-size cameras from the 1940's, the bubble top is large with a nice edge distortion.

Aaah...there they are.

Yeah, that is a massive chunk of glass on top of those.

I took apart my Rediflex to clean it and was amazed at how large it is.

But you are right, you have to back off a lot to avoid getting the edges in those shots.

This glass is SO big that I found that I can use a small point and shoot on the Rediflex II's square front lens.

Amazingly, I came home with both of these cameras on my first weekend of hunting for TTV-suitable cameras. You see a lot more of the Anscoflex II than you do this original Anscoflex.

I have yet to try them on my contraption but am eager to give them a go.
