this is my second contraption, with the two levels, centered handle and black paint, which the first one didn't have. The camera clamp is Manfrotto ....(note name and model), bolted underneath. I like to be able to quickly remove the Nikon for work or family use, not just art and ttv. This image captured through the viewfinder of Ansco Rediflex.

still life set
the window upstairs faces south. This is where I set up a still life base. Weekly fruit to contrast and harmonize with bowl, background or cloth. favorite objects (subjects) to use for arranging, color background paper. The weather, sun/cloud diffusion, time of day, season, all factors in the light.
I enjoy waiting and grabbing the light it's right. In November, Pennsylvania, north facing light, that time is 10-11am and 2:20-3:30pm.
At night I use a single Sure-shot flashlight and remote shutter control.
For shallow depth of field, I prefer f/stop 3.5 (or smallest f/stop on your camera), macro lens, clean lens and mirrors.
work in progress
this blog is a work in progress. If you've stumbled upon it, sorry, it looks a bit out of order at the moment! Val
argus 75's
They are each a little different from each other. Sometimes the mirrors have rust, but the lenses are clean.
contraption, self
I built this contraption so I could hold it one handed, and upside down and sideways. It has a handle on the back.
